Referees - Select Group 2 For 2017/18

Earlier this week the EFL in readiness for Friday evening's first games of the new EFL season between Nottingham Forest and Millwall and Sunderland and Derby County announced the referees and assistant referees who made 2017/18's Select Group 2 list.

The list of Select Group 2 Match Officials for the coming 2017/18 season has been announced as follows and although they are the goto Championship selections, they make make appearances in the Premier League or Leagues One and Two in some capacity across the year depending on need:

Don't mind who the ref is at a game as long as they are impartial,read the game correctly and are not card happy.We all have seen bad ref's in our time,good ones too.It's time to implement a similar system to what they use now in tennis,have the goal line monitored,every season we see goals disallowed,the ref and his assistants getting it wrong whilst the fans can clearly see the ball has crossed over the line.It wouldn't cost much to bring in such a system,I am fairly sure we would all welcome this.
