Ledley hits Cardiff milestone

Cardiff born youngster Joe Ledley racked up his 100th appearance for Cardiff City in the Championship win against Leicester City.

It's easy to forget that Ledley, 20 last week, is so young having been a regular player in the Cardiff side for 3 seasons. A cultured midfielder by trade, Ledley has played at central midfield and left back as well as his favoured left wing berth and looks comfortable and assured in all positions.

Ledley has only scored 10 goals in his 100 appearances for Cardiff but has 3 already this season and will be loooking to improve that side to his game. Although looking a little jaded of late, Ledley's early season form alerted several Premiership clubs to the youngster and rumoured interest from European giants Arsenal highlighted his quality.

A 20 year old midfielder would normally be talked about in terms of potential but Ledley is already an established player at Championship level and a regular in John Toshack's Wales squads.

We hope we get to see Ledley playing for Cardiff and racking up many more appearances and goals for his hometown club.
