Dave Jones Double-Milestone

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones watched his 500th game from a manager's point of view and would have been pleased to see his side come out victorious over Leicester City.

The straight talking Liverpudlian has been crucial to Cardiff City's impressive season and after rebuilding the squad minimising transfer money and wages spent, Jones has been adopted by Cardiff City fans.

His no-nonsence approach as a centre-back at Everton stood him in good stead for a managerial career and he impressed in his first role as manager of Stockport County.

The manner of his departure from Southampton was a cruel blow for Jones and he was dismeed from the Wolves hotseat after relegation from the Premiership but people were all too quick to forget that he took them there and the Wolves fans have found no-one to get them established in the Premiership yet. Cardiff were lucky to find Jones out-of-work nad gave him the opportunity to re-prove himself.

Dave Jones managed 117 games for Stockport, 113 for Southampton, 187 for Wolverhampton Wanderers and has currently amassed 83 for Cardiff City taking his tally to a round 500 with the game against Leicester. That game also saw him rack up his 200th win of a managerial career.
