'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cardiff v Leicester-manager reaction

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones was obviously delighted after seeing his side rack up their second successive victory. He was particularly pleased with hat-trick hero Michael Chopra and praised his work-rate and attitude during a recent barren run.

Cardiff won the game after going three goals up but allowing Leicester back into the game with two late goals.

'We make life difficult for ourselves, maybe it's the youth of the back four, but sometimes we tie ourselves in knots.'

'But you learn how to be winners, some of them have not been at this stage at a football club ever.'

Jones reserved special praise for his match-winner and hat-trick hero:

'The three goals that Chops has scored are fantastic and that eases a little bit of the nerves.'

Leicester City boss Rob Kelly was dissappointed with the result and the manner of Cardiff's goals blaming the result on the team's inconsistency.

'I know all three of Cardiff's goals were good finishes but we should have done better with them.'
