Cardiff offer trial to Hungarian
Cardiff City have offered a 1 week trial to MTK Budapest defender Bela Balogh. Primarily a centre-half, Jones was mostly interested in signing a fullback but a back injury to skipper may force Jones into recruiting another centre-back as cover and Belogh fits the bill having been recommended to Jones via his European scouting network.
Belogh is a Hungarian Under-21 international and scored in a 5-0 win for Hungary over Finland U-21s during the summer.
He now has 1 week to impress Dave Jones and Terry Burton and would join up with fellow centre halves Glenn Loovens and Roger Johnson to cover Purse's absence.
