Sam Hammam Poll Results

With todays Cardiff City FC AGM set to officially end Sam Hammam's tenure at the club, the controversial character has received mixed feelings from Cardiff City fans.

Destite changing Cardiff City forever and helping them to the top of the Championship from the basement division, Hammam was criticised for a series of rash decisions and financial concealments that could have jeopardised the club's future.

A recent poll on the VitalCardiff website revealed more mixed emotions from Cardiff fans:

16% wanted Sam Hammam to continue as a director

The majority wanted Sam Hammam to leave with 57% wishing him well as he left but 11% chastising him and hoping to forget the Hammam era.

A meagre 7% wished to see him repeat his actions agains Leeds United several years ago and responding to chants of 'We want Sam Hammam, wlaking round the pitch!'

Foverer in the hearts of many Cardiff fans, Hammam certainly changed the club and his memory will almost certainly move on. Regardless of his failings, he was comitted to the club and has a big impact. Hopefully the future holds biug things for Cardiff City football club and Sam Hammam can be remembbered as one of those eho helped it happen.
