Cardiff's Gilbert set to return

On-loan Arsenal defender Kerrea Gilbert is back to full fitness after suffering a dislocated shoulder during a training session in October.

Gilbert's last appearance for City came during Cardiff's first loss of the season away at Norwich where the teenager was sent off in the closing minutes after clashing with Paul McVeigh.

Gilbert is now back in contention and could feature in this weekends trip to Leicester City possibly coming in for fellow teenager Chris Gunter who has deputised in the last two games. His return is a boost for Cardiff boss Dave Jones who can now field his 1st choice starting XI with Stephen McPhail also returning from suspension.
