Cardiff City face the daunting prospect of a full KC Stadium when they take on Hull City tomorrow.
The Tigers currently sit in the relegation zone but fans hope that a new manager can turn the clubs fortunes around with high-profile names such as Iain Dowie linked with the job.
Hull City have invoked a clause in the league rules that allows them to offer home tickets to all sections of the ground for just £5, and with an average of over 17000 fans turning up to see the Tigers despite the poor run of form, a near sell-out crowd of 20000+ is expected. The highest gate at KC stadium this season is 21512 against Sunderland in October but the club hope to push this closer to the 25404 capacity when the Bluebirds visit. Cardiff will only take an allocation of between 400 and 500 supporters as the expense of the festive season takes its toll.
Both sides desperately need the points and it promises to be a decent game with both sides vulnerable to conceding goals recently. The big crowd is sure to be behind Phil Brown's side after a good perfromance (despite losing to Plymouth) in their last game. If Cardiff can re-find their form, the Hull fans have been known to turn on their team and the result could go either way.
C'mon City !
