City Star: 'we're not despondent'

Cardiff City new boy Malvin Kamara in now settled in Cardiff and has been delighted with his decision to move to the Welsh capital. Kamara joined from MK Dons in the summer on a free transfer along with team-mate Nick McKoy, he has since made numerous substitutes appearances for Cardiff City as well as 2 league starts against Leeds Utd and Colchester Utd and the powerful right winger is set to start against Ipswich this Saturday as cover for the suspended Stephen McPhail.

Kamara is a youngster full of confidence and has been used mostly as an impact player as Championship level, but he has not looked out of place delivering direct and powerful running in the later stages of games and has 1 goal to his name during the 4-0 home demolition of Wolves with a neat finish from just inside the area.

Kamara admits City are suffering a dip in form at the moment but denies that temas have worked Cardiff out.
"The heads went down a little bit after our game against Stoke".

"But don`t get me wrong, we`re not too despondent! Cardiff are still very close to the top of the table, so considering we haven`t won that much in the last few weeks it`s testament to how much we`ve achieved." Kamara said on his icons.com website.

We look forward to the team turning in a good performance on Saturday but the result is more important. We look for Kamara to continue his promising form and supply Steve Thomspon with the crosses he needs.
