Cardiff duo out on loan

Cardiff City duo Joe Jacobson and Curtis McDonald have joined Accrinton Stanley on month-long loans. Joe Jacobson, a left back, was duo to join Torquay recently but the chairman pulled the plug on the deal. The youngster is highly rated and Dave Jones has been looking to give him first team experience to prove himself.

Curtis McDonald is a pacy striker of wideman who has scored regularly for the reserves and will hope to force himself into Jones` plans with a successful loan spell and Jones rumoured to be looking for striking options in the new year. Both youngsters are highly thought off and have both appeared in league action at the end of last season.

Meanwhile Jamal Easter has extended his loan with Bristol Rovers for a second month, the teenager has scored once for the Pirates but has featured mostly as a substitute in league matches. Easter is well know to BRFC director of football and former Cardiff boss Lennie Lawrence.
