Manager reaction to Cardiff defeat
Cardiff boss Dave Jones was clearly disappointed with the performance and the result as he watched his side stumble to their second defeat in three games:
'They came to do a job and have taken away the points. We dealt with everything else they had, but it was a poor goal to give away.'
'I have no complaints, because we started poorly and finished poorly and there were not enough attempts on goal."
Jones accepted that all sides occasionally have an off day but was bitterly disappointed to gain nothing from the game:
'If you are not going to win then you have to make sure you do not lose.'
QPR boss John Gregory was delighted however despite his side's lacklustre performance:
'We had one clear chance - and we took it.. Coming to a place like this and taking all three points is a great confidence boost for all of us.'
