Offical - Leicester & Palace Bids For Campbell

Following much speculation and too'ing and fro'ing it has now been confirmed that Cardiff City did accept two relegation release clause offers from Leicester City and Crystal Palace for wantaway striker Fraizer Campbell.

Hardly unexpected news is it really!

The Leicester link certainly seems to have gone by the wayside now following the reports that they weren't willing to meet Campbell's wage requirements, when only having returned nine goals last season, you wouldn't have thought he'd have gone in so high - if he infact did.

But they have now signed Brighton's Leonardo Ulloa which you'd have through has definitely brought their interest in Campbell to an end.

The remaining offer from Crystal Palace seems to be progressing well as it's being reported today that he is at Selhurst Park to undergo a medical and put the finishing touches on personal terms.

The release clause is again reported as 900,000 and it's expected the 26 year old will make the move to London within the next 48 hours.
