Cardiff 3-0 Teuta Durres

The second pre season friendly of Austria and the day also ended in victory for a different Cardiff team.

With manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer splitting the team to ensure everybody got a good run out, in the second match of the day we faced off against Tueta Durres and the victory was secured thanks to goals by Javi Guerra, Adam Le Fondre and Guido Burgstaller.

This game again took place at the SVK Arena, but this time we face an Albanian Superleague side.

Kicking off later in the day, the temperature was obviously cooler for the second game, and Cardiff took quick advantage as Jo Inge Berget found the back of the net after only eight minutes, only to see the referee rule the strike out.

Cardiff finally took the lead in the 21 minute when Guerra scored his first goal for the club since joining us this summer. Cardiff seemed to settle in this game quicker than we did the last one and were knocking the ball around well for large parts of the first half, and with four minutes remaining of the first period, Burgstaller stepped up to double our advantage as he connected with a Fabio cross.

The second half played out similar, and Le Fondre added his goal with nine minutes remaining of normal time.
