Le Fondre Fee Agreed

Le Fondre Fee Agreed

Cardiff are reportedly closing in on the signing of Reading striker Adam Le Fondre.

An undisclosed offer has been made for the 27 year old, which BBC Sport reports Reading as having accepted for the striker, who has another year left on his contract with our will be Championship rivals.

Remember as a kid when you used to play football, everyone always wanted to play in attack with the side ending up with about one or two defenders, a goalkeeper and the rest of the players up front.

I think this is what OGS is going for next season!

Put it this way we couldn't defend for toffee last season could we, had it not been for the brilliance of David Marshall in goal we would have shipped even more goals than we did.

OGS has already secured the services of attack minded players Javi Guerra and Guido Burgstaller with Federico Macheda on his way to the Cardiff City Stadium for a medical ahead of his signing after the Italian striker was released by Manchester United last week.

We'll score more goals than you seems to be the approach to next season, which should make for interesting viewing.

Mentioning Marshall's name makes this as good a place as anywhere to make referee to the growing reports linking him with Tottenham and Arsenal, should a fee as high as £15m be offered as reports claim then as key to us as he is that would have to be accepted wouldn't it.
