Ole - We Have To Believe 100%

Speaking in his weekly pre match press conference ahead of this weekend's game against Southampton, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Cardiff City must have 100% complete faith in themselves if we are to get anything from the match and give ourselves some final hope of survival this campaign.

We have five games left and 15 points to play for and with the league as tight as it is a good run of results now could see us pull off what many would tag as the 'unthinkable' given our form and results so far this campaign.

Speaking to the Official Site Ole admitted again that everybody had been left hurting following on from the three nil defeat to Crystal Palace in our last match, and he again held his hands up in terms of us simply not being good enough on the day but he's been happy with the response he has seen in training and he's confident that the fans will see a reaction on Saturday.

'We've got to believe in it and give 100%. The lads have shown that belief this week and will go into the game on Saturday with the fight needed to get a result. I hate losing, I like losing, it's about getting the job done for Cardiff, the players, the fans, everyone. Saturday will be tough, but we'll be ready for it.'

In terms of injury news, we already know Craig Noone is out now most likely for the rest of the season, but striker Kenwyne Jones is also a major doubt for the Southampton game.

Skipper Steven Caulker also echoed the words of the gaffer by saying that with the games we have left now it's basically 'do or die' time for the team and they have to do everything they possibly can to make sure that they choose the 'do' option.

He says in his own pre match interview that belief remains high within the team, but they all know it's time they started proving that on the pitch and not just talking about it off the pitch.

'All the odds are stacked against us, but what better time to go out there and prove otherwise. It's now or never. To get out of this almost gives all the players the opportunity to make ourselves small time heroes in Cardiff, it'll take some doing for us to get out of it that's for sure, but we're hopeful that we can make for a good end to the season.'
