Noone Out For The Season

Noone Out For The Season

Cardiff's hopes of avoiding Premier League relegation, as limited as they are, have taken another blow with Craig Noone ruled out of the remaining five game.

OSG has confirmed that Noone picked up an abdominal injury against Crystal Palace last Saturday with him off to America for treatment but he'll miss the Southampton, Stoke, Sunderland, Newcastle and Chelsea games.

'Craig took a bad knock against Crystal Palace and is going to the USA to see a specialist.

'We have to find out exactly how bad it is and I doubt we will see him back this season.

'He is a player who makes things happen for us and he has been terrific, but we will have to do without him over these next few weeks.'

The winger could have been one of those to give us some inspiration to stay up without him a hard job becomes even harder with the need for Wilfried Zaha to step up and deliver, as he's been backed to, growing.

OGS also addressed a Supporters Trust meeting this week, opting to do this and face Cardiff fans as opposed to being a TV pundit for Manchester United's game in Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

I've got to take my hat off to him for doing this and he's gone up in my estimations as he could have easily decided not to and hidden away from the truth.
