Guerra Has Relegation Excuse?

It's being reported today that Real Valladolid striker Javi Guerra can back out of his pre contract arrangement with us for next summer should we fail to secure our Premiership status this campaign.

All the official pre contract negotiations were done and dusted last month with the 31 year old signing what was believed to be a three year deal and it had been confirmed by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

At the time though it was believed the deal was non conditional, however that is now being contradicted in the media, and they are saying that should we go down Espanyol will instead swoop for him as his move is apparently dependent on us being in the top flight.

I must add there are no quotes or concrete information here, not even words attributable to an agent, and the original source I can see appears to be Talksport.

So that has to be factored in here.
