'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Eikrem's FA Cup Dream

If Cardiff are going to continue their FA cup run we've first got to overcome the holders Wigan, who we face at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Like most footballers Magnus Wolff Eikrem grew up watching the FA cup in his native homeland of Norway with great excitement and with the Bluebirds moving closer to a return to Wembley this season, which comes even closer if we can see off Wigan, he moves closer to fulfilling his Wembley dream.

Wigan might play in the Championship these days but it'll be a tough game and he's told BBC Sport that he knows it.

'We think we have a good chance.

'Every player dreams of playing at Wembley and that would be unbelievable.

'It's going to be a tough game. Wigan are a good team.'

This cup dream will either continue or come to an end today, that's unless a replay is required meaning both sides will find themselves in the draw for the quarter final stage that takes place on Sunday.

As for his own settlement at Cardiff the 23 year old, who should be a starter today, is happy with how this is going and is continuing to 'work hard in training everyday' as he looks to become a better player.

Eikrem is still waiting for his first Premier League start for us with his three appearances so far coming as a sub.
