Jo Inge Berget Joins Cardiff

Vincent Tan continues to find money down the back of the sofa, when he previously wasn't making 'a penny' available to former manager Malky, as he's found the funds to allow OGS to raid former club Molde to sign Jo Inge Berget.

The fee is undisclosed but OGS knows him well, and with his contract expiring this summer it wouldn't have been that high I'd doubt with the manager sure he'll do well and has backed him to shine for us.

'He knows the way I want to play, he's strong, intelligent, smart.

'He scored against England in the Under-21 European Championships and will do well for us.'

Berget, who is 23-years-old, can either play up front or in midfield, so looks to have given us another option as a striker but more of a winger I think and that's an area I've kept saying we needed to strengthen in and the Norwegian international will hopefully quickly adjust to the Premier League.

It's been a busy time since OGS arrived and plenty of names are continuing to be linked with a move to us but Wilfried Zaha's 'imminent move' to Cardiff might not be as imminent as reported though.

OGS isn't denying an interest in the Manchester United winger but wouldn't comment on the speculation linking the Bluebirds with him but did deny that Zaha had already undergone a medical, as had been reported he had earlier this week.
