'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Zaha Just What We Need

I know that there's still nothing 'official' as such but as far as I'm concerned once BBC Sport jumps on the bandwagon you can be pretty certain that there's some truth to reports.

It looks as though Wilfried Zaha will soon be coming to Cardiff.

The England international, for whatever reason, doesn't look as though he's someone that David Moyes is that keen on. It's strange as his predecessor the great Sir Alex Ferguson, and he was great whatever you thought of him, thought Zaha good enough to take to Old Trafford from Crystal but Moyes just doesn`t seem to like him.

As long as there aren't any last minute hitches he'll be coming to the Cardiff City Stadium on loan until the end of the season and I see this as quite a coup for us with the winger being exactly what we need.

Earlier this week I said that we needed a winger, and links to the Argentine at Internacional worried me slightly as he has no experience of Premier League, or European Football, and I thought we had to go with someone more proven in the British game. Zaha isn't proven in the Premier League as such but if he was good enough for Sir Alex Ferguson he'll be good enough for OGS and I'm really excited about this impending move.

Tom Ince would've made a good signing but even though it's only a temporary move, we'd not be able to keep him I wouldn't have thought, Zaha could prove that spark we need as he'll also be wanting to prove a point to get himself back into the England squad with the World Cup coming up this summer.

Should his signing be confirmed tomorrow, as I hope it is and do think it will be, he'll join Norwegian's Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Mats Moller Daehli to become OGS third and most high profile signing since his appointment.
