'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ralls Yeovilified

Malky isn't going to be given a penny to spend in the New Year but I'd imagine that Cardiff will allow players to go the other way, but only if it benefits the club.

At the moment Joe Ralls is being 'Yeovilified' with Yeovil, as the Championship sides manager Gary Johnson put it in the Western Gazette. He's also revealed that talks are taking place to extend his stay at Huish Park.

Ralls made the move to Yeovil in August, in a loan deal that's meant to run until the end of the year.

To date he's turned out 15 times for the Somerset side as he looks to continue his development, that's seen him play 14 times for the Bluebirds and scoring once since his debut in August 2011.

I'm not sure that Ralls, as good as he potentially could be, will be getting into the first team with us in the Premier League just yet so I'd imagine that it'll be a good move for him, and us in the long run, if he was allowed to stay with them until the end of the season perhaps.

It'll be important that he can feature regularly though, otherwise there's not really that much of a benefit to an extended stay at Huish Park is there?

Makes all the sense in the world for him to remain there getting the game time he is. Let him have a year's experience and then return really ready to have a crack at the first team.
