'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Fear Liverpool Mutch?

Well apparently Jordon doesn't as he believes we can keep Luis Suarez quiet and take points from our visit to Anfield.

Liverpool will be very pleased with their current form as they find themselves only two places behind table toppers Arsenal after a run of three high scoring games since their last defeat to Hull City, but the midfielder doesn't believe that we should be fearing that as we go into the game because he feels we have enough about ourselves to cause them an upset.

Speaking to Wales Online as the build up to the game begins, Mutch said that the confidence and the team spirit in the camp means that we will be going into the match with confidence looking to cause a surprise.

'Anything is possible. We believe in each other. If we maintain the team spirit we've shown and stick to our game plan, we have every chance.'

The spirit comes obviously from every player wanting to give their all to keep us in the league this season and staying up at the first time of asking is always a success, and of course the players here want to be performing at the top level every season, and that is the attitude that goes into every game we play irrespective of the opposition.

On the back of a very disappointing loss to Crystal Palace, Mutch goes on to say that the West Bromwich Albion game wasn't a must win match for us, but taking all three points and performing how we did has given us the perfect confidence boost for what is a good trip to Anfield, and whilst the players are looking forward to it, they'll be looking back on it more fondly should we get a positive result.

The biggest fear is fear itself. I've spokebn about being realistic in another thread but also said that if we go into this game with too much fear we;ll not only lose but likely get thrashed. We'll do well, admittedly, to keep Suarez quiet and Liverpool are in fine form but why turn up if we've accepted the inveitable before it's happened as it's not definite it will! If Hull can beat them so can we, at least get a point?
