City Players return

City Players return

Cardiff City midfielders Joe Ledley and Paul Parry both came off the bench in Wales' two Euro 2008 qualifying matches this week. Wales lost heavily to Slovakia on wednesday in a 1-5 defeat, their worst home defeat in many decades. However they outclassed a Cyprus side 3-1 on Wednesday evening to notch their first win of the campain.
Neither Ledley nor Parry was given much chance to impress, despite being in top form for their club but hopefully thir hunger will be high and both should be fit and ready to face Crystal Palace on Saturday. A big match after the international break for the Bluebirds and Dave Jones should have a full squad to choose from barring long-term absentee Kevin McNaughton injured during the win over Wolverhampton Wanderers and out for 6-8 weeks.

Good to see them getting a run out for their country and that you have internationals in the side.
