Cardiff chase Blues' midfielder

Birmingham City midfielder Neil Kilkenny is a target for Dave Jones and his table-topping Bluebird`s in the January transfer window. The Australian international is an attacking midfield player and is highly rated already enjoying Premiership football and is still just 21 years old. The Blues have warned Hammam and Ridsdale against making an approach and the player may also be reluctant to move from one of the Championship giants. He is however, not a fully established member of the Birmingham first team and, should Cardiff keep up their excellent early season form then Kilkenny may just be persuaded to move.
