Bristol City Stun In-Form Watford

Bristol City Stun In-Form Watford

Cardiff City are sitting pretty at the top of the Championship but Palace, Leicester City, Middlesbrough and Hull city have recently been joined by Watford as the main rivals for promotion after the Vicarage Road outfit went on a storming run and rapidly climbed the table.

However, tonight the Hornets were stunned by bottom side Bristol City who recorded an unlikely 2-0 win thanks to goals from Cunningham and Anderson. The result keeps Watford at arms length and they remain 11 points behind us - having played a game more.

Cardiff City return to action at Leeds United on Saturday, but Watford's poor result is certainly an unexpected but welcome surprise!
