Cardiff City Announce Lappin Capture
Cardiff City have formally completed the signing of former Norwich City man Simon Lappin with the Scotsman coming in to provide cover and competition for Andrew Taylor at left-back though he is more accustomed to a midfield role.
Lappin spent time on loan with City warlier this season, but barely featured. He does haowever have experience at this level and is a saft option, providing cover at full-back which is probably our weakest area should injury/suspension hit.
A deal for lappin has looked a formality for the past 1-2 weeks, especially adter City admitted an interest and Lappin was subsequently released from his Norwich City contract.
This will probably be the final incoming player for the Bluebirds over this period, however Malky is always ready to pounce if one of his top targets should become available....
