Cardiff City Dump Young Convict Saint-Luce
Cardiff City have confirmed that promising young midfielder has seen his contract terminated aftr being convicted of assault following an incident in a Cardiff nightclub in November. Eagle-eyed fans will have noticed that his name was removed from the matchday programmes until his trial where he was found guilty.
Sainte-Luce was a promising young midfielder, but while it can be difficult as a young footballer - his actions cannot be condoned and it is clear that Malky Mackay is extremely diligent when it comes to attitude and application of his players.
Sainte-Luce has been a regular in the development and under-18 squads but will now look for a new club. The club waited until the legal formalities were completed before releasing the news - but Saint-Luce's future was in considerable doubt ever since admitting assaulting a young woman.
