Feretti returns to Cardiff

Feretti returns to Cardiff

Andrea Feretti is back at Ninian Park for training after finishing his spell with Scunthorpe. The young striker made just 4 appearances with 30 minutes against Brentford (1-1) his longest appearance.

Brian Laws was happy with the teenagers contribution but stressed that the club could not afford to keep 5 strikers on the club accounts and given that Feretti was unlikely to make the bench from now on, it was best for the player to return to Cardiff.

Feretti has been prolific for Cardiff reserves but found first team chances limited but may be able to force himself onto the bench ahead of Luigi Glombard if he can emulate last season's scoring record.
