Cardiff City will be delighted with the three points gained by getting the victory over rivals Leicester City. We got the win, ensuring Leicester stay on 37 points - with the Bluebirds now opening a 10 point lead over a side likely to be right up there in April/May. City will also have been extremely happy with the other results - which gives the table an even healthier look tonight.
Hull City put the pressure on all the top six by winning on Friday night and their 2-1 win over Derby looks all the more valuable after todays fixtures.
Middlesbrough had the chance to move level on points with Hull, and took the lead only for Leeds United to turn things around. Boro's defeat leaves them on 41 points and City now have a 6 point lead over Mowbray's men.
The other huge clash from a CCFC point-of-view was Crystal Palace's match against Huddersfield Town. A home win for the Eagles looked most likely but the game was changed dramatically after Damien Delaney was sent off to reduce Palace to 10-men. The Terriers missed a penalty CPFC in front. Thankfully, Huddersfield came back into it and earned a draw courtesy of a peculiar tame effort from Keith Southern. Despite former Cardiff City man Anthony Gerrard also being dismissed - The Terriers did us a favour.
Elsewhere, Millwall dropped out of the top six after a surprise defeat at Barnsley, Watford beat Forest but game of the day was a thrilling 5-4 victory for Peterborough over Bolton Wanderers - the Posh are on a roll.
