Hull Join Cardiff City At The Top

Hull City will be delighted after securing a victory in a difficult Pride Park encounter with a 2-1 victory that sees the Tigers level with the Bluebirds at the summit of the Championship.

Goals from Koren and Faye helped Hull City seal the win, either side of a Michael Jacobs equaliser for Derby County - who are very difficult to beat at home.

Steve Bruce's men are in great form and now have 44 points but remain below City on goal difference, 7 behind Malky's men - who play today. Barring an unprecedented embarrassment in Leicester today - City will remain above Hull but could be Middlesborough if they beat Leeds United and we lose, or, if Palace can overcome Huddersfield and City fail to win.

Cardiff City could conceivably be level third after today's games, this division is so close to call and after the win over Blackburn we looked to be opening some breathing space. However, the defeat by Peterborough gave others a chance and Leicester City will certainly fancy their chances today.
