Cardiff City To Replace CEO Alan Whiteley
Cardiff City are set to part company with current Chief Executive Alan Whiteley having announced that he is to be replaced by current Finance Director Simon Lim.
Whiteley replaced Gethin Jenkins, and seemed a strange appointment at the time - given his legal background. However, he has presided over a period of stability and while fans previously worried about Jenkin's negotiations with players and agents - the new set-up, including Whiteley, performed spectacularly in that dept.
Simon Lim will replace him, despite only recently having taken over on the Finance side from Doug Lee. Alan Whitely will remain as a club director where, alongside Steve Borley, he will provide local Welsh input into club affairs - for now at least.
