Happy Bellamy Day Cardiff City !

Cardiff City today look certain to complete the re-signing of Craig Bellamy, a marquee signing to coincide with the re-launch of the stadium today with fine weather and a sell out for #ilovethecity2012 tonight.

Bellamy may well be unvelied as a Bluebird during the event, with a deal agreed with Liverpool to release him, a wubstantially reduced wage package agreed with the player - and the medical partly complete and due to be fibnalised today.

Bellamy adds experience, pace and flair to the squad, and excelled during the Olympics. His exacting high standards will hopefully elevate the rest of the players - all of whom are gifted, and more than happy to work hard for the cause.

The capture of Bellamy would be an impossibility, except for his fairly unique character and links in South Wales. He is clearly still a Premiership quality player, and if he can remain injury free will be a massive asset for us.
