Debutant Vuckic Starts For Cardiff City !

Cardiff City manager Malky Mackay has bravely opted to thrown new signing Haris Vuckic straight into the starting line-up to face bid-spending Leicester City.

Vuckic has only just finalised his initial 1-month loan period from Newcastle United and will have had scant time to get to know his new team-mates - or the style Cardiff City play. However, his class and potential are impressive and the attacking midfielder is certainly capable of making an immediate impact.

Mark Hudson is still out, so Gerrard continues in defense while McPhail is also out due to illness. Kenny Miller continues in attack, while Craig Conway will look to continue his good form on the wing.

Heaton misses out with a knock, meaning a rare chance for another new recruit Elliot Parrish on the bench.

CCFC full team:

Marshall, McNaughton, Taylor, Turner, Gerrard, Gunnarsson, Whittingham, Cowie, Vuckic, Conway, Miller.

Subs: Parrish, Kiss, Gestede, Mason, Blake
