City sign experienced striker
The 36 year old striker becomes our 12th signing and looks set to play mostly a subsittutes role as back-up to Steve Thompson. Campbell is vastly experienced and will go some way to replaceing the other old pros who have moved on such as Cox and Ardley. Campbell has played top-flight football for Arsenal, Everton and West Brom and was released by the Baggies following their relegation last season. The much-travelled hitman has also had spells at Turkish side Trabzonspor as well as Notts Forest and Leicester. Campbell has played over 400 league matches in his career and scored 142 goals.
