Premiership winger Flood to sign

Premiership winger Flood to sign

Flood is an Under-21 Ireland international and has enjoyed loan spells with Rochdale and Coventry but injury cut short his stint with the Sky Blues. Flood is a right sided midfielder with Manchester City and has made a total of 28 appearances, 14 for Manchester City with the majority coming as a substitute.

Jones has been searching for a right sided midfield player to add width and provide crosses for Thompson. Flood is relatively experienced for such a young player.

Flood will sign a four year contract with the Bluebirds tomorrow finalising the deal worth around £200k although none of this sum is payable immediately.

I've seen him play a few times for City, if you've managed to get him on a permanent deal you've done very well indeed, he's got a bright future.
