Double Ton Up For Cardiff City Star Earnie

Cardiff City fans favourite Robert Earnshaw has made a solid start during his second spell with the Bluebirds and now leads the scoring chart for City - becoming the first player to score more than one league goal this season.

Even mopre impressive, was that Saturday's equaliser was his 200th goal Cardiff City for Robert Earnshaw. That is a remarkable feat, especially since he spent several of his peak years at other clubs like West Brom, Nottm Forest and Derby County.

It was never going to be easy for Earnie to return to his hometown and boyhood club, with the huge expectations to contend with, as well as a completely new manager and squad at the club.

Earnshaw is still lacking fitness, so there is hopefully more to come - but both his goals saw him in the right place at the right time and he made no mistake. He has added more to his game, a speedy turn, some good trickery and improved ball control but the work-rate is still there and he looks set to remain an important player, surely scoring more goals for the Bluebirds along the way.
