Burnley vs Cardiff City (Team News)

Cardiff City look set to name an unchanged line-up for the difficult trip to Burnley with the lively Joe Mason continuing to deputise for Aron Gunnarsson.

Gunnarsson (ankle), Kiss (hamstring)and McPhail (illness)are all out meaning Mackay is desperately short of options in central midfield. Sol Taiwo and Aaron Wildig are also injured so Darcy Blake is the only man capable of stepping in.

Rudy Gestede is pushing hard for a starting position having impressed from the bench against West Ham and Brighton. However, Earnshaw and Miller look likely to continue. Big Jon Parkin looks set to again be disappointed.

Burnley boss Eddie Howe will be without midfielder Marvin Bartley who is suspended following a red card against Crystal Palace, despite only appearing as a substitute.

Dangerous attacking player Martin Paterson will also miss the game though quality cover has arrived in the shape of on-loan striker Zavon Hines and former Bournemouth prospect Danny Ings.

Keith Treacy is struggling for match fitness and could also be replaced in the starting line-up.
