Kenny Miller 'Will Be' Cardiff City Player

Cardiff City are in pole position to sign former Wolves and Rangers forward Kenny Miller after his current club Bursaspor in Turkey confirmed that Cardiff was his likely destination.

Bursaspor are keen to cash in with Miller reportedly unhappy in Eastern Europe and seeking a move back to the UK. Rangers are keen on re-signing the goalscorer, but their initial offer fell short of the 1m EURO asking price.

'Director of transfers' for Bursaspor is Erkan Kamat and he is quoted today as claiming:

'As far as we are concerned, Kenny Miller has been sold to Cardiff City. He is going to be their player and he is not going to Rangers.

The policy of Rangers is not good. I don't like it. It is a ridiculously low offer.'

Cardiff City are in the market for striking options with doubts over Jon Parkin, and the inexperienced Joe Mason. Robert Earnshaw can certainly make a contribution, but further options are a must for Malky Mackay. Spending close to £900k on a 31-year old is somewhat of a risk, but Miller is proven at this level and capable of making a big impact.
