Swansea City Book Wembley Date

Cardiff City face Reading in the Championship semi-final, and the winners will play Swansea City after the Jacks confirmed at least one Welsh club will be in the Premiership showdown after a 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest.

After a frenetic opening, the Swans stormed into a 2-0 lead after a Britton effort from 20 yards and a neat Stephen Dobbie finish. Not much went for Forest and they looked below par and nervous.

The second half saw the Swans sit deeper, but Forest missed their chances - Tudgay with the best as he blazed over from 12 yards. It did get interesting late on when former Bluebird Robert Earnshaw fires home with his first touch and nearly spoiled the party only to hit the post with a low effort.

Darren Pratley wrapped up the win after breaking from his own box and smashing home from the halfway line with Lee Camp up for a late Forest corner.

Well done Swansea, hopefully we can match their achievement and beat Reading tomorrow night.
