Cardiff City's on-loan forward Jay Emmanuel-Thomas wrapped up the win against Sheffield United on Tuesday and has today hinted that he may return to play for the Bluebirds next season.
JET is an Arsenal product, and his ball control is simply superb. He has pace, power and a great deal of skill, but while he has outstanding potential - it's tough to see him breaking into the Gunners' first team - with the wealth of talent they have available.
Whether Cardiff City are in the Championship, or the premiership next season will depend on the next few games and in either case, a second move for Emmanuel-Thomas would represent a positive for both clubs and the player.
Speaking to WalesOnline, Emmanuel-Thomas said:
'It would be great to go back to Arsenal knowing I`ve played a part in helping a team get to the Premiership.'
'You never know what will happen, but I could be back here next season. I don`t know what the situation will be.'
'My future at the moment though is with Arsenal.'
JET has two goals so far this season, and a few more would be extremely welcome. He has been used mainly as a substitute since joining from Arsenal, able to play on either flank or as a striker. With him, Jason Koumas already on the bench, and Michael Chopra and Jon Parkin set to return from injuries - the attacking options available to Dave Jones certainly look impressive.
