'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cardiff City Rocked By Arsenal Claim

Cardiff City's plans for the rest of the season could be hit by Arsenal with manager Arsene Wenger revealing he will be looking to recall some of his loaned out starlets following the injury to Samir Nasri.

Jay Emmanuel-Thomas recently joined the Bluebirds from Arsenal, and impressed on his debut last week. The midfielder looked set to play an important role for us with his pace, strength and skill offering another option. He was due to remain with us until the end of the season.

Wenger said:

'I will look at the option of recalling some loan players. People like Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Henri Lansbury could come back.'

This would be a huge disappointment to lose the versatile youngster, who was hightly sought after by Championship clubs and looks an excellent player.

Hopefully, Wenger will opt not to recall him, instead relying on the likes of Wilshere to step up, and Aaron Ramsey set to return to the Gunners next month.
