City snatch Swansea target

City snatch Swansea target

Roger Johnson has joined the Bluebirds for a fee of £250k, to be paid in installments. Johnson becomes Dave Jones' 6th signing of the summer in what is expected to be a busy week for the Blues boss.

The Wycombe Wanderers centre-back and captain had attracted interest following his solid displays and was a target for Swans boss Kenny Jackett. The Swans had a £100k bid rejected earlier in the summer and were expected to make a marginally improved deal later in the summer.

Roger will join up with the squad in time for the pre-season trip to America and is expected to start the season as back-up to first choice defensive partnership of Purse/Loovens.

This normally happens, first a team buys soo many players, second they don't bond quickly, third they start losing games amd finally they get relagated. This transfer just go's to show that who has the better scouts. i thought cardiff were a championship team??
