Cardiff City Seal Loan For Arsenal Youngster

Cardiff City have announced the signing of talented youngster Jay Emmanuel-Thomas who joins on loan until the end of the season.

Emmanuel-Thomas is a powerful figure and is highly rated at Arsenal. His size has not limited him and his versatility has been acclaimed for some time. Primarily, he is an attacking winger or striker but he has featured in virtually every position going - there's no telling where Dave Jones wants to play him.

Whilst this appears a very good signing, Bluebirds fans will hope we have not picked up another Kelvin Etuhu - who was extremely disappointing last season playing as a winger/striker whilst on loan from Manchester City.

Equally, fans will be further mystified as to why we have signed another attacking player whilst desperately short of defensive options! Parkin and Emmanuel-Thomas add further strength to a potent attacking line-up but we have a weak backline which clearly needs re-enforcing!

Welcome to Cardiff City Jay...

where are the central defenders that we need ASAP! This reminds me very much of Etuhu. Mind you, let's give the lad a go before we judge.
