DJ Appeals For Cardiff City To Pull Together

Bluebirds manager Dave Jones has appealed for everyone associated with Cardiff City FC to rally together and push the club forward following a difficult time of late, during which a series of disappointing results has seen us slide down the Championship standings.

Speaking in the Ambassador Newsletter ahead of the Coventry City clash:

'As far as we're concerned we just want to get out there and play and to get back to winning ways, which we'll look to do this weekend against Coventry City on Boxing Day.'

'At the moment we know very well that the results haven't gone well for us, but with the bigger picture of the entire season in mind, we're where we all wanted to be. Now we want to take it to the next level, which is something we'll need to do together as a club.'

'Fans, players, staff, coaches: everyone connected to the club, we're all in this together.'

Despite the dismal poor form, the Bluebirds remain in an excellent position in the Championship, and well placed for a realistic promotion push. That is amazing given recent form, but is a testament to our superb early season results.

Cardiff City supporters are a passionate bunch and while recent results have been poor, its the manner of our our abject disjointed performances that have been the most difficult to take. Expect the fans to get behind the boys on Boxing Day, as long as the players are up-for-it and determined to regain the pre-November form.
