Bluebirds May Face 'New Iron Man' N'Guessan

Cardiff City travel to face Scunthorpe United tomorrow, with the Iron dipping into the loan market today and adding lively attacking outlet Dany N'Guessan to their squad.

The 23 year old Frenchman has joined up with his team-mates, and has been registered so is available and in contention to face Cardiff City tomorrow. He is on-loan from our old foes Leicester City, we faced the Foxes a total of 5 times last season, and they are one of three sides to beat us this year.

Prior to the play-off semi-final, then Foxes manager Nigel pearson cited N'Guessan as the potential matchwinner for his side. He did make an appearance from the bench, but his impact was limited - despite showing pace and a direct attacking intent.

At over 6ft, and with plenty of pace, N'Guessan is one of those players who can cause all sorts of problems on his day. We've had our share of similar recruits, but Quincy, Etuhu and the like have struggled with consistency, and ultimately made little impact.

N'Guessan can feature in midfield, adding pace on either flank - or can operate in a more advanced role. He is unlikely to start the game, but could easily make an appearance from the substitutes bench. The Iron will be looking for him to make an immediate impact, and help them improve their poor record at home.
