Two New Signings Confirmed

THe signings of Michael Chopra and Stephen McPhail have been officially confirmed by the club.

The two players have been strongly linked recently and have both now agreed to deals with Cardiff City. Chopra's deal have been finalised with current club Newcastle with the player agreeing verbally to a City deal within the last 2 days.

McPhail has signed a pre-contractual agreement with Cardiff and will sign on a free transfer on July 1st when his current contract with Barnsley FC expires. The creative midfield player has been touted as one of the most talented outside the Premiership and plays usually in the centre of midfield or sometimes on the left side. An accurate passer and creative influence, City will look to McPhail to provide some attacking invention lacking last year.

Welcome to both new City players and well done to Dave Jones for beating off strong competition for both players and moving early to get the new players at Ninian Park to ensure they participate in the pre-season schedule.
