Boss Comments After Foxes Beat Cardiff City

Cardiff City boss Dave Jones was disappointed with the 2-1 defeat to Leicester City but bemoaned the misfortune as 5 top players were ruled out through injury.

Jones said:

"We had five big players out for us and we were a bit stretched. It`s unusual that we have had five injuries, but hopefully we can get one or two of them back for the weekend and go again."

"We got ourselves into a winning position and the frustrating thing is we had spoken about the boy King breaking into the box."

"Maybe it was a bit of fatigue but we got caught out. They were the better team in the second half so I can't complain."



Leicester City boss Paulo Sousa applauded his side's fightback after picking up their first win of the season:

"I am very happy and we have deserved this win before so it is nice to get under way. I feel the team is closer to my personality now."

"During the international break the players' approach changed. They started to understand what approach we needed and the spirit and attitude."
