Support Bellamy At Home, And Sierra Leone

Cardiff City pulled off a stupendous transfer coup this week by acquiring the services of Craig Bellamy on loan for a year. Much has been written in the press recently about the deal, and the crucial role both he and Manchester City had in making the deal a reality.

Cardiff City fans have been delighted by the move, while Bellamy himself is glad to be home and back living full time with his wife and young family.

For anyone who is not aware, Bellamy's interest and influence stretches far beyond South Wales and he has worked extremely hard in recent years to promote the Craig Bellamy Foundation in Sierra Leone. Fantasic work, which is all too rarely balanced against his reputation as a 'bad boy' of UK football.

Any Cardiff City, football, or good cause fan can help support this excellent cause by donating to the Foundation. Many Bluebirds fans have given generously to the cause in support of Craig, and his decision to forego the signing-on fees etc he would have picked up if he'd chosen to move to one of the more illustrious clubs (e.g. Spurs) who wanted to sign him.

Any donation, from the large to the miniscule, would be welcome. You can do your bit by signing here.
