Cardiff City vs Swansea City - Live On BBC

Cardiff City`s home match against local rivals Swansea City has, as expected, been moved from the 3pm Saturday kick-off and will now take place on Sunday 7th November with a 1.15pm kick-off. This is to accommodate live TV coverage as in previous seasons although it will not be Sky covering the game, instead the BBC will provide coverage of the clash which is sure to be a fiery encounter.

Both clubs performed to expectations last season with the Bluebirds reaching the play-offs, while the Swans also occupied a play-off position for the majority of the season, only faltering at the end. However, both clubs are facing uncertain summers with financial concerns for both clubs, and the loss of key personnel for Swans (Brittain) and Cardiff (Ledley) alike while Swansea manager Paulo Sousa is reportedly disgruntled with his lot at the Liberty and is being strongly linked with the Leicester City vacancy. Neither club will have a substantial budget to spend over the summer months and the November encounter will be important both in terms of rivalry and strategically for the season.
