'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cooper sidelined after operation

Midfielder Kevin Cooper will definitely miss Cardiff City's next two games after an operation on his knee.

Cooper underwent surgery over the weekend, but hopes he will be action in action soon.

'I'll miss Preston North End and Brighton, but hopefully that's all,' said Cooper.

'It's going to kill me even missing two games - I hate being injured, but it's come to the point where I can't put operations off any longer.'

His place in the City line up at Preston is likely to go to Paul Parry.
